1 Ch 12:32 Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command.

The sons of Issachar were intelligent men, who understood the signs of the times, well versed in political affairs, and knew what was proper to be done in all the exigencies of human life; and who now perceived that it was both the duty and political interest of Israel to advance David to the throne.Today we seek sons and daughters of Issachar, men and women who understand the times we are living in and know what is to be done in all the exigencies of human life to advance King Jesus to His throne.

This blog is devoted to seeking Biblical truth related to current world events.

The Battle Cry

 The Battle Cry

"Rak Chazak Amats"

This is a call to arms! It is a wake up call to the Church of our Lord Jesus the Christ. This is the cry of a watchman on the wall.
Eze 33:3 NLT - When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people.
A spiritual battle is raging all around us. It is specifically targeting the Church of the Lord Jesus. There are those that call themselves Christians that do not even believe this. Then there are those that sense the battle but believe that somehow they are immune to the attacks of personified evil, the devil. They believe that he can get no place or foothold (Greek - topos) in them. Then there are those that know there is a battle going on but they have no idea of the strategies, tactics, and weapons of the devil. They are easy victims of the wiles of the evil one. Neither do they know the strategies, tactics, and weapons of the Lord with which to resist and overcome the devil. Even if they know about spiritual warfare, they have not been taught about the authority and power that has been given them, or how to use the spiritual weapons that the Lord has provided for them.
2Cr 10:3 ESV - For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh.
2Cr 10:4 ESV - For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
2Cr 10:5 ESV - We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
Eph 6:12 ESV - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
As a result of these battles many people and churches are wounded. Many are torn and bleeding, even to the point of spiritual death. The Church is to resist the enemy, escape the devil's traps, and be familiar with his schemes (Jam 4:7, 2 Tim 2:25-26, 2 Cor 2:11). But, in far too many cases, it is week and powerless and often wounded and bleeding to death. It is all because to many Christians have not been prepared, equipped, and trained to use the authority, power, and weapons that have been given to the people of God. These are the things given to the Church to enforce the victory over the devil that has been won for them by Jesus on the cross (Col 2:15, 1 Jn 3:8, 5:18, Mk 16:17,18, 2 Thes 3:3, Heb 2:14).
It is time for the Church to wake up. It is time for a war cry to come forth. Spirits of deception, manipulation and control, perversion, lawlessness, hate, violence, and death are manifesting themselves all over the earth, even within the Church itself. Where is the trained and equipped Church of Jesus? Where is the light in the midst of the great darkness that is overshadowing the nations of the world? Where are the Lord's warriors?
It is time for the Church to recognize who the real enemy is, what he is up to, what weapons he is using, and how to defeat him in spiritual battle. It is time for the Church to put on the armor of God, pick up the Sword of the Spirit, and attack the enemy.
Eph 6:10 ESV - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
Eph 6:11 ESV - Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Eph 6:12 ESV - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:13 ESV - Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Eph 6:14 ESV - Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15 ESV - and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16 ESV - In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
Eph 6:17 ESV - and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
Eph 6:18 ESV - praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
The watchman on the wall cries out, " wake up Church, the hour is late, night is coming when no one can work".
Jhn 9:4 NKJV - "I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; [the] night is coming when no one can work.
The first seal of the great scroll of Revelation 6 has been broken and the second seal is about to be broken (Rev 6:1-4). The war in the spiritual world is raging. The wars of the last days on earth are about to begin. The Lord Jesus is calling His troops to attention and sending them out into the battles. His word to His faithful ones is, "be strong and very courageous for I am with you".
Deu 31:6 NKJV - "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He [is] the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."
Jos 1:7 NKJV - "Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
Jos 1:9 NKJV - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God [is] with you wherever you go."
1Ch 28:20 NKJV - And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do [it]; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God--my God--[will be] with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
It is time for the ancient Hebrew war cry to ring out once again! The souls of many Churches, families, and individuals are at stake.
