1 Ch 12:32 Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command.

The sons of Issachar were intelligent men, who understood the signs of the times, well versed in political affairs, and knew what was proper to be done in all the exigencies of human life; and who now perceived that it was both the duty and political interest of Israel to advance David to the throne.Today we seek sons and daughters of Issachar, men and women who understand the times we are living in and know what is to be done in all the exigencies of human life to advance King Jesus to His throne.

This blog is devoted to seeking Biblical truth related to current world events.

The Court in Heaven

The Court of Heaven   August 2020
There is a court in Heaven where God sits as the Judge and in this court are books.
[Dan 7:9 NASB] "I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took [His] seat; His vesture [was] like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne [was] ablaze with flames, Its wheels [were] a burning fire.
[Dan 7:10 NASB] "A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened.
Written in these books are the words of God. Truths that are forever. One of these books is the Book of the Living. The Book of the Living records the details of the life of each living person before they were even formed in the womb. The events of each day and the destiny of each person is recorded in the Book of the lives of Human Beings.
[Psa 139:16 NLT] 16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Day of my life, Hebrew, yā-mîm yuṣ-ṣā-rū; = days fashioned for me)
Another book is the Book of Tears. The Book of Tears records the pain of broken hearts and crushed spirits. God watches over His children. He knows their pain and sorrows and moves with compassion, comforting, protecting, healing, rescuing them from trouble, and providing for His own.

[Psa 56:8 NLT] 8 You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.
[Psa 34:17-20 NLT] 17 The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. 19 The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. 20 For the LORD protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!2 Kings 20
The things promised in these books are often thwarted in this world. So many people are not living the life God intended for them. Many are living in pain, sorrows, bondages, and lots of troubles. This is because we live in a fallen world and we have a spiritual enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came to turn all of this around and He often uses His people in the process. This is where the court in Heaven comes into play.
[Jhn 10:10 NASB] "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have [it] abundantly.
God is a righteous judge and judges with equity and He judges both the righteous man and the wicked man.
[Psa 7:11 NASB] God is a righteous judge and a God who has indignation every day.
[Psa 9:8 NASB] And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity.
[Psa 96:10 NASB] Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity."
[Ecc 3:17 NASB] I said to myself, "God will judge both the righteous man and the wicked man," for a time for every matter and for every deed is there.
In this court, there is an accuser, Satan.
[Job 1:6 NLT] One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the LORD, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them.
[Job 2:1 NLT] One day the members of the heavenly court came again to present themselves before the LORD, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them.
[Zec 3:1 NLT] Then the angel showed me Jeshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel's right hand, making accusations against Jeshua.
Jesus is the advocate for those standing before the Judge. There is also a counselor in the courtroom, the Holy Spirit.
[1Jo 2:1 NKJV] My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
[Rom 8:34 ESV] Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died--more than that, who was raised--who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.
26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.
We step into this courtroom when we take our concerns and complaints to God in prayer, and when we pray as intercessors for others.
[Psa 55:17 ESV] Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan, and he hears my voice.
[Psa 64:1 ESV] To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy.
[Psa 102:1 ESV] A Prayer of one afflicted, when he is faint and pours out his complaint before the LORD. Hear my prayer, O LORD; let my cry come to you!
[Psa 142:2 ESV] I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him.
[Lam 3:59 NASB] O LORD, You have seen my oppression; Judge my case.
When we stand before the Judge, we first need to deal with ourselves. If we have not dealt with our sin and our part in the complaint, we should not expect the Judge to hear our case. We know that we are covered by the righteousness of Christ, but we need to make sure that we have confessed, repented, and asked the Judge for forgiveness and cleansing of anything that might hinder our prayers and intercession.
[2Ch 6:23 NASB] then hear from heaven and act and judge Your servants, punishing the wicked by bringing his way on his own head and justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness.
[1Pe 3:7 NKJV] Husbands, likewise, dwell with [them] with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as [being] heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
Now we are ready to present our petitions to God the Judge.  The basis of our case must be what is found in “the books”. In the books are found God’s law, His promised life and destiny of each individual, our pain and sorrows, His promises made to His people, and His plan for the history of the world as revealed through the prophets.
In the big picture, God made covenant promises to His people Israel. They guarantee Israel a permanent national existence, perpetual title to the land of promise, material, and spiritual blessing through the Messiah, and through the Messiah, they guarantee gentiles a share in these blessings.  The land promises or blessings are given in the Palestinian covenant.  The promises of a perpetual kingdom are given in the Davidic covenant and the redemptive and spiritual blessing are given in the New Covenant.  Taken together these constitute the Abrahamic covenant.
God also promises to send a Messiah, a Savior, to save mankind from their sin.
[Luk 2:11 ESV] For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
[Act 5:31 ESV] God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
[1Jo 4:14 ESV] And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
God promised to establish His kingdom on the earth and to rule and reign on the earth for 1000 years, then create all things new.
He also promised to heal the brokenhearted, set captives free, release those that are bound, heal the sick, deliver those that are tormented by demons, and to be a source of joy and peace in the midst of the storms of life.
[Isa 61:1 ESV] The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
[Isa 61:2 ESV] to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;
[Isa 61:3 ESV] to grant to those who mourn in Zion-- to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
[Gal 5:22 ESV] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
[Jhn 16:33 NKJV] "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Based on God’s promises and plans, when we take others' problems before God in prayer, we are essentially taking their case before the Great Judge seeking righteous judgments, justice, and release of God’s promises as written in the books. What often happens is that we do not see the issues resolved. Where is the blockage? What hold over those we are praying for does the accuser have that keeps them in bondages, that keep them from living the good plan for their lives that is written in the books?
[Jer 29:11 NASB] 'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
The first issue is do they belong to God or the devil? If they are “of the world”, then Satan has a claim on their lives. The first step in setting them free is to get them into the Kingdom of God by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Then we look for issues that give the devil rights over them. Things that give the devil a place, foothold, or opportunity to control and/or torment them, things like sins of many kinds, hardness of heart, sensuality, impurity, deceitful desires, falsehoods, anger, and any works of the flesh.
[Gal 5:19 NKJV] Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
[Gal 5:20 NKJV] idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
[Gal 5:21 NKJV] envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told [you] in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
[Eph 4:17 ESV] Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.
[Eph 4:18 ESV] They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart.
[Eph 4:27 ESV] and give no opportunity (place, foothold) to the devil.
There are other things that create barriers that hinder one’s relationship with God, keep us from hearing Him, and things that give the devil opportunities and rights to keep us in bondage.  These are things that work to prevent prayers from being answered.

Basic strongholds are often established in the areas of unbelief, fear, manipulation and control, addictions, hatred, self-worth, anger/rage, bitterness, unforgiveness, sexual sin and perversion of all kinds, and occult involvement of all kinds. These open doors for the enemy to build strongholds that can destroy a person’s life. These strongholds get into a person’s life through sin (especially hidden sin), ancestrally passed down issues (sins), soul ties, occult involvement, curses, unforgiveness and revengeful emotions, traumatic events, and a life or history of dysfunctional friends, families and role models.

Dealing with these issues involves confession and repentance of sin, giving and receiving forgiveness, cutting off ancestral sins and curses, cutting off unhealthy soul ties, renouncing occult involvement or beliefs in any form, replacing word curses with God’s truths and blessings, and dealing with the pain and lies believed from past traumatic events. The legal authority to do these things is given to us by Jesus (praying in Jesus' name). The power to enforce these things is given to us by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

In the court of heaven, as these accusations and works of the devil are resolved and the barriers removed, our advocate the Lord Jesus moves, and court orders are issued to set the captives free, heal, and bless those we have taken to the court of heaven. All along the way, our “counselor” the Holy Spirit is directing us in the process. Knowing how to “litigate” (take a claim or a dispute to a court of law) in the court of Heaven is essential to being effective intercessors for ourselves and for those we are praying for.
When it comes to praying for the world around us we must know the “master plan” as revealed to us through the prophets of the Bible. Knowing the plan, we can pray according to the plan. Taking an issue or request to the court of Heaven that is not in accord with God’s master plan will be futile even though it may feel or sound right in our own eyes. In our world today of much chaos, confusion, and uncertainty, it very easy to pray for our desires and plans. Knowing God’s plan, trusting the plan, and praying the plan will bring great blessings and success to our prayers.
In the end, we are just praying God’s will for individuals and His great plan of the ages for all mankind. Let’s step into that great court in Heaven and be part of the answer to the prayer Jesus taught us to pray:
[Mat 6:9 NKJV] "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
[Mat 6:10 NKJV] Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven.
[Mat 6:11 NKJV] Give us this day our daily bread.
[Mat 6:12 NKJV] And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
[Mat 6:13 NKJV] And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

A Warning and a Promise from the Prophet Haggai

A warning and a promise from the prophet Haggai  August 2020
This word for the Church comes at the beginning of the Days of Repentance, Teshuvah, 30 days before the Feast of Trumpets.
In Jewish tradition, these are days of seeking God and of returning to Him in repentance and humility before the day of judgment comes, the Day of the Blowing of the Trumpets (the Feast of Trumpets).
The LORD says to the Church, “Is it time for you to dwell in your paneled houses while the LORD’s house needs repair?” But the people say, “the time has not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be repaired”. Then the LORD says, “Consider your ways! You have sown much but bring in little; you eat and drink but do not have enough. You earn wages only to put into a bag with holes. Consider your ways! Repair my house that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified. You looked for much, but it came to little because you have neglected my house while dealing with your own interests and concerns. Therefore, heaven above withholds blessings”.
What is this saying to the Church today? Like in Haggai’s day, a foundation of God’s house, the apostles and prophets, has been laid, but something is in disrepair and needs to be built.
[Eph 2:20 NKJV] having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner[stone],
The Church has been busy building its churches from buildings, to congregations, making plans, and building programs, but is it what the Lord calls “His House”? What is His House? It is a “House of Prayer for all Nations”.
[Isa 56:7 NKJV] Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices [Will be] accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations."
[Mar 11:17 NKJV] Then He taught, saying to them, "Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a 'den of thieves.' "
What is “a house of prayer for all nations”? Could it be a spiritual covering and a restrainer of evil and lawlessness for all nations?
[2Th 2:7 NKJV] For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains [will do so] until He is taken out of the way.
What would this “restraining” look like? It would not just be a passive voice making a weak protest against all of the evil, sin, and wickedness in the world right now. It seems to me that it would be a passionate people, not only praying against the evil but actively working and speaking out and standing against it. It would be a people that know how to wage spiritual warfare, from the personal level of setting people free from demonic oppression, to building walls of spiritual protection over families, congregations, cities, and nations. It would be a people that know how to litigate (present a case against evil before God) in the courts of Heaven. It would be people that know who they are in Christ. A people who know their authority and power in the Holy Spirit and are well trained in how to use that authority and power.
The hope found in the words of Haggai comes in that he tells us that the remnant of the
God’s people did heed the words and did repent and return to God’s command to build His house before the day of judgment of the Feast of Trumpets.
Then the leaders of the Church, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God; and the people feared the presence of the LORD. Then the LORD says, “I am with you”. And the work began six days before the Feast of Trumpets.
During this process of building God’s house into this “house of prayer for all nations”, the Lord says to His remnant people “I am with you”. Therefore, as this remnant Church stands strong against the evil in our day, they are to be strong and courageous and not to fear because the Lord is with them until all the work of the service of the house of the LORD is finished.
[Dan 7:9 NKJV] "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment [was] white as snow, And the hair of His head [was] like pure wool. His throne [was] a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;
[Dan 7:10 NKJV] A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened.
[Jos 1:9 ESV] Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
[Jos 10:25 ESV] And Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid or dismayed; be strong and courageous. For thus the LORD will do to all your enemies against whom you fight."
[1Ch 28:20 ESV] Then David said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the LORD God, even my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.
[Rom 8:31 ESV] What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
On the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, just before the Day of New beginnings (Shemini Atzeres), the LORD says to the leaders of the Church and all the people, “Now be strong and work for I am with you! My Spirit remains among you; do not fear! Once more in just a little while I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to Me, and I will fill my Temple, my people, with glory”. The glory of this latter Temple shall be greater than the glory of all the previous temples. And in this place, I will give peace.”
After the Feast of Tabernacles, a feast of rejoicing and dwelling with the Lord, just before the Day of New beginnings (Shemini Atzeres) the Lord issues a warning to the world. He prophecies that a great shaking is coming upon the nations of the earth. This shaking will cause many to come to Him, and He will fill His Temple, this House of Prayer for all nations, His people, with glory and He will give peace to them.
The next message Haggai gives to us today is related to the day of Hanukkah, the prophecy of the anointing of His Temple, His house.
On the first day of Hanukkah, the LORD says this; “Before you sowed much but reaped little. But from this day on I will bless you.
For God’s Church, there is a great blessing coming related to the day of Hanukkah. But for the world, great trouble is coming.
[Psa 112:1 ESV] Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments!
[Psa 112:6 ESV] For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever.
[Psa 112:7 ESV] He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.
[Psa 112:8 ESV] His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.
[Rev 3:10 NKJV] "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
“But now says the LORD, I will shake heaven and earth. I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms, I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them; they shall all come down, every one by the sword of his brother. And in that day, I will take my Servant and make Him King of kings and Lord of lords.”
First, the LORD promises that from this day on, He will bless His people. But, He will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, destroy the strength of Gentile kingdoms, and overthrow armies. In this day, the LORD says He will enthrone God the Son, Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords. This the final fulfillment of the Day of Atonement, the day the Lord Jesus returns as the King.
[Job 34:20 NKJV] In a moment they die, in the middle of the night; The people are shaken and pass away; The mighty are taken away without a hand.
[Job 38:13 NKJV] That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it?
[Psa 18:7 NKJV] Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry.
[Isa 2:19 NKJV] They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.
[Isa 13:13 NKJV] Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the LORD of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger.
[Isa 24:18 NKJV] And it shall be [That] he who flees from the noise of the fear Shall fall into the pit, And he who comes up from the midst of the pit Shall be caught in the snare; For the windows from on high are open, And the foundations of the earth are shaken.
[Isa 24:19 NKJV] The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly.
[Mat 24:29 NKJV] "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
[Mar 13:25 NKJV] "the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
[Luk 21:26 NKJV] "men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
[Rev 6:15 ESV] Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains,
[Rev 6:16 ESV] calling to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,
[Rev 6:17 ESV] for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

[Rev 22:20 NKJV] He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
[Rev 22:21 NKJV] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.

There is a great shaking coming

There is a great shaking coming.  (August 2020)
[Hag 2:6 NKJV] "For thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Once more (it [is] a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;
[Heb 12:26 NKJV] whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven."
[Heb 12:27 NKJV] Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
There is a word of the LORD for the nations today. It is found in the books of Haggai and Habakkuk.
From the prophet Habakkuk for our day:
O LORD, we are crying out. Will you not hear? There is violence, trouble, iniquity, strife, and contention everywhere. The law seems powerless, and justice never seems to go forth. The wicked are surrounding the righteous and perverse judgment is everywhere.
But the LORD says, “Look among the nations and watch. Be astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you. Indeed, I am raising up an enemy to possess places that are not theirs. They are terrible and dreadful; their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves. They scoff at kings, and they deride every stronghold. They worship foreign gods.”
But LORD, are you not from everlasting, the Holy One? We shall not die. You have appointed them for judgment; you have marked them for correction. You cannot look on wickedness. Why do you look on those who deal treacherously, and hold your tongue when the wicked devours a person more righteous than he? Shall they continue to slay nations without pity?
Then the LORD said: “Write this vision for it is for an appointed time. Though it tarries, wait for it: because it will surely come, it will not tarry. The evil men transgress by drink and drugs. They are proud and enlarge their desire as hell. They are like death, and cannot be satisfied. They gather to themselves all nations and heap up for themselves all people. Will not the righteous rise up against them, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases what is not his? Will not your creditors rise up suddenly? Will they not awaken the oppress and you will become their booty?’
Because they have plundered many nations, the remnant of the righteous shall plunder them because of men’s blood and the violence in the land and the cities. Woe to those who covet evil gain. They sin against their souls. Woe to those who build a town with bloodshed, who establishes a city by iniquity! Behold, it is not of the LORD that these people labor in vain. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, even as the waters cover the sea.
Woe to those who lead others into evil. They are filled with shame. The cup of the LORD’s right hand will be turned against them, and utter shame will be on their glory. Violence will cover them as judgment for their sins. Woe to them that worship evil and idols. But the LORD is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him.”
O LORD, we hear. Revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known: in wrath remember mercy. And God will come. His glory will cover the heavens, and the earth will be full of His praise. March through the land in indignation: trample the nations in anger. Go forth for the salvation of Your people, for salvation with Your Anointed. Strike the head of the house of the wicked and lay bare their foundations.
Yet we your people will rejoice in the LORD. We will joy in the God of our salvation. The LORD God is our strength; He will make our feet like deer’s feet, and He will make us walk on the high hills.
And from the prophet Haggai:
This word comes at the beginning of the Days of Repentance, Teshuvah, 30 days before the Feast of Trumpets.
Therefore, the heaven above withholds blessings”.
Then the leaders of the Church, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God; and the people feared the presence of the LORD. Then the LORD says, “I am with you”. And the work began six days before the Feast of Trumpets.
On the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, just before the Day of New beginnings, the Shemini Atzeres, the LORD says to the leaders of the Church and to all the people, “Now be strong and work for I am with you! My Spirit remains among you; do not fear! Once more in just a little while I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to Me, and I will fill my Tempe, my people, with glory”. The glory of this latter Temple shall be greater than the glory of all the previous temples. And in this place, I will give peace.”
On the first day of Hanukkah, the LORD says this; “Before you sowed much but reaped little. But from this day on I will bless you. But now I will shake heaven and earth. I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms, I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them; they shall all come down, every one by the sword of his brother. And in that day, I will take my Servant and make Him King of kings and Lord of lords.
