1 Ch 12:32 Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command.

The sons of Issachar were intelligent men, who understood the signs of the times, well versed in political affairs, and knew what was proper to be done in all the exigencies of human life; and who now perceived that it was both the duty and political interest of Israel to advance David to the throne.Today we seek sons and daughters of Issachar, men and women who understand the times we are living in and know what is to be done in all the exigencies of human life to advance King Jesus to His throne.

A Call to Prayer for September 2020

September 2020 – A Call to A Solemn Assembly
From End Times Headlines, June 16, 2020
“Something Big Is Coming”: Pastor Dana Coverstone Just Had Another Prophetic Dream About The Month Of September (Michael Snyder)
Christians all over America are talking about Pastor Dana Coverstone, and he just had another prophetic dream about the month of September that everyone should hear.  He is warning that “something big is coming”, and he is calling Christians all over the country to pray for our nation from the beginning of the month of September to the end.  Hopefully many will heed this call, because we are definitely at a major turning point in our history.  I have been hearing from so many readers lately that feel such an urgency about the second half of this year and beyond, and I think that is a big reason why Pastor Coverstone’s original video resonated so strongly with so many people.  What he shared in that video exactly matches what countless believers have been feeling, and it also perfectly lines up with experiences that other prophetic voices have been having.
Pastor Coverstone’s original video on YouTube has now been viewed over 1.5 million times.  In that video he shared a dream that he had in December 2019 in which the Lord showed him that a great pandemic and tremendous civil unrest would erupt in America during the first half of this year, and events have played out in real life just as he saw in that dream.
Subsequently, Pastor Coverstone had another dream in late June in which the month of September was specifically singled out as having special significance
Here’s what I saw.
I saw a calendar. Start with the calendar. As I was having this, the calendar was up, a white figure appeared.  To me, it was a representing God the Holy Spirit, something pure, something righteous, something true, something Holy because there was nothing sinister about it.  Nothing evil, but I heard the voice say, “part two, part two”.
I saw June, go, I saw July. I saw August, and then I saw September, and I saw the finger underneath the word September and I like like emphasizing it and tap the three times.
We don’t know exactly what will happen in September, but from the remainder of that dream it certainly sounds like great chaos is coming in November and in the months beyond.
Other prophetic voices have been warned about the second half of this year as well.  Dr. Maurice Sklar was specifically shown that September is a key month, and John Fenn was specifically shown the same thing.
So we have multiple witnesses that are all confirming the same thing, and that should definitely get our attention.
It should be noted that John Fenn was told that the events that he was shown are conditional.  In other words, they may or may not happen based on how America responds over the coming months.
And that actually fits very well with the new prophetic dream that Pastor Dana Coverstone just had on July 10th, because that dream appears to be a national call to prayer.
Pastor Coverstone revealed this new dream during a worship service at his church, and you can watch his entire sermon right here.  In the dream, Pastor Coverstone saw a hand remove the month of September from the calendar, and the page fell and came to rest at his feet.  He was instructed to stand on the page and to intercede for the nation.  After praying for a few minutes, he was instructed to call others to pray with him, and ultimately he saw large numbers of people praying.  All throughout the month of September, he saw believers united in prayer, and then he saw something else that was very unusual.
He saw a hand come down and write the words “a solemn” in front of the word “September”, and then the hand wrote the word “assembly” after the word “September”.
And so when the hand was done writing, the phrase “a solemn September assembly” was written across the top of the calendar.
Commentary by D.P. Weary:
In addition to these current prophecies concerning September, we note that Jonathan Cahn has called for a national and global day of prayer and repentance on September 26, 2020. He believes that we are at a great turning point in our nation and in the world and is calling for all Christians to be on their knees in prayer and repentance for the destiny of our nation. If we look to the scriptures regarding the Feasts of the Lord that occur in September 2020, and to other scriptures that speak about “a solemn assembly” we might get a sense of what this prophecy concerning September is all about.
This year, 2020, the Feasts of the Lord (The Feasts of Israel) that occur in September are The Feast of Trumpets on September 19-20, The Awesome Days, or the Days of Awe, September 19-28.  and The Day of Atonement on September 28 (Lev. 23:23-32).
The days of September 2020 are also the closing days of the Days of Teshuvah or Repentance.
·         Teshuvah – 30 days of repentance and a call to return to the Lord to prepare for the Feast of Trumpets.
·         These are days of finding “righteousness” in order to enter the Temple on the Feast of Trumpets.
·         For the Jew, they are days of making sacrifices to get right with their fellow man and to get right with God.
·         The Church has been given righteousness by God through Jesus. These are days of helping others find true righteousness in Jesus before the Feast of Trumpets.
·         Ps. 27 and Ezek. 33 are read each evening of the 30 days and are keys to understanding these days of Teshuvah.
·         The last 10 days of Teshuvah are The Awesome Days between the Feast of Trumpets and The Day of Atonement.

To enter the Temple for the Feast of Trumpets and to escape the Awesome Days (Psa. 27:1-6; Rev. 3:10-13), one’s name must be written in God’s Book of Life by finding righteousness. These are days of helping others to find righteousness by leading them to Jesus (Matt. 22:2-14, Luke 14:12-24). These are days of praying for the salvation of the unsaved. These days are the final days of the wheat harvest, the days of gleaning the fields before the Feast of Trumpets. These are also the days of being watchmen, warning others that the day of judgment, the Feast of Trumpets, is very near (Ezek. 33:1-9).
The Feast of Trumpets
The start of a new year for SABBATICAL years, for JUBILEE years.
The Day of the Blowing of the LAST TRUMP – 1 Cor 15:52
Yom HaDin - The Day of JUDGEMENT (The day of the resurrection of the dead - Isa 18:3).
Yom HaZikkaron - The Day of REMEMBRANCE (Mal 3:16-17).
Yom HaKeseh - The Day of CONCEALMENT (Psa 27).
Ha Melech – THE KING (the day of the coronation or wedding; Dan 7; 9-14; Rev 4:1; 5:14; Psa 47).
Also known as “THE DAY THAT NO ONE KNOWS” and "One Long Day".
It is the first day of the Yamim Nora-im, THE DAYS OF AWE, the last 10 days of repentance (Rev 2:10).
·         To enter the Temple for the Feast of Trumpets your name must be written in the Book of Life. Your name is written in the Book when you find righteousness in the sight of God.
·         At the sight of the new moon by the High Priest, trumpets are blown to call the people to the Temple. The l00th trumpet blast is called the blast of the Last Trumpet.
·         The Feast of Trumpets is the beginning of the civil new year and for Jubilee years.
·         It is a two-day festival but considered “one long day” and also known as the day no one knows.
·         It is known as a Day of Judgement, and the resurrection of the dead when the dead are resurrected and judged to see if their name is written in the Book of Life.
·         It is also known as a Day of Remembrance.
·         It is a Day of Concealment per Psalm 27 when the righteous are concealed or hidden in the secret place of His tent in the days of trouble that will follow the Feast of Trumpets.
·         It is the Day of The King. Traditionally the day of the wedding and/or coronation of a Jewish King. For the Jews, the first Feast of Pentecost in the wilderness was the feast of the blast of the first trump and is the engagement of Israel to God. Trumpets, the blast of the last trumpet is the wedding of Israel to God.
·         For the Church, the engagement was the Pentecost in 70 A.D., and whenever one accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Church is the virgin Bride of Christ. The wedding will be at a Feast of Trumpets, the feasts at the blast of the last trump.
·         For Jew and Gentile, the Feast of Trumpets is a prophecy of God’s people entering into His Tabernacle in Heaven for the wedding of the King, Jesus.
·         For those whose names were not found on the Book of Life, Trumpets is the start of 10 days of great trouble called the Days of Awe or the Awesome Days. These 10 days may be 10 years, the last 7 of those years being the 7 years of tribulation just before the return of Jesus as King of kings.
·         It is still possible to “find righteousness” and get your name written in the Book of Life during the days of Awe before the final judgment of the Day of Atonement, but it will probably cost you your life (Rev. 12:11).
·         The traditional greeting during these 10 days is “may you be sealed unto the Day of Atonement”.
A solemn assembly for the Church concerning the Feast of Trumpets would deal with the joy of the Lord coming in the air to take His bride to their wedding. For others, it would deal with solemn prospect of entering into the Days of Awe or tribulation.
The Day of Atonement – The Day of Redemption.
Yom HaPeduth, The Day of Redemption; a fearsome day where the Jew lived or died according to God's will. It is the holiest day in the Jewish year (Lev 23:28- 30).
Yom HaDin, the Day of Judgment. On this day God grants or denies atonement for the coming year.
In Judaism, the gates of heaven are opened during the Mussaf service of Rosh haShanah.  Likewise, they are closed at the conclusion of the Neilah service of Yom Kippur (Isa. 26:1-3; Psa 24).
On Yom Kippur, the Shofar haGadol (THE GREAT SHOFAR) is blown to gather in the surviving believers from the days of tribulation (Eze. 39:28; Isa. 27:13).
This yearly REDEMPTION is to be made permanent and complete on the Day Messiah comes (Isa. 59:20-21; Zech. 14:1-15; Rev. 19:11-16).
·         A fearsome day, a Day of Judgment when God grants or denies atonement for the coming year. The holiest day in the Jewish year. On this day the High Priest enters the Holy of Holies to seek atonement for the coming year for Israel.
·         As the Gates of Heaven are opened during the first service of the Feast of Trumpets, they are closed during the last service of the Day of Atonement.
·         This is the day of the blowing of the Shofar haGadol, the Great Shofar. It is blown to gather the surviving believers from the days of tribulation.
·         This yearly Redemption for Israel is to be made permanent and complete of the Day Messiah comes. The Day of Atonement is the prophecy of the return of Christ Jesus as the King of kings.
The Day of Atonement deals with the beginning of the seven years of the great tribulation and with the coming of Jesus the King at the end of the great tribulation. A solemn assembly here would be dealing with the fate of those that have to live during these terrible years but also of the joy and glory of Jesus coming to earth to reign as King of kings and the beginning of 1000 years of God’s Kingdom on earth.
There are other scriptures referencing “a solemn assembly” that could occur in September.
In the book of Joel, a solemn assemble is called to cry out to the Lord for the day of the Lord is near, destruction from the Almighty. The people were to return to God with all of their hearts, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. The possibility was that God would relent, spare His people, and leave a blessing.
[Joe 1:13-20 ESV] 13 Put on sackcloth and lament, O priests; wail, O ministers of the altar. Go in, pass the night in sackcloth, O ministers of my God! Because grain offering and drink offering are withheld from the house of your God. 14 Consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD. 15 Alas for the day! For the day of the LORD is near, and as destruction from the Almighty it comes. 16 Is not the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our God? 17 The seed shrivels under the clods; the storehouses are desolate; the granaries are torn down because the grain has dried up. 18 How the beasts groan! The herds of cattle are perplexed because there is no pasture for them; even the flocks of sheep suffer. 19 To you, O LORD, I call. For fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and flame has burned all the trees of the field. 20 Even the beasts of the field pant for you because the water brooks are dried up, and fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
[Joe 2:1-17 ESV] 1 Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; it is near, 2 a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness! Like blackness there is spread upon the mountains a great and powerful people; their like has never been before, nor will be again after them through the years of all generations. 3 Fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns. The land is like the garden of Eden before them, but behind them a desolate wilderness, and nothing escapes them. 4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses, and like war horses they run. 5 As with the rumbling of chariots, they leap on the tops of the mountains, like the crackling of a flame of fire devouring the stubble, like a powerful army drawn up for battle. 6 Before them peoples are in anguish; all faces grow pale. 7 Like warriors they charge; like soldiers they scale the wall. They march each on his way; they do not swerve from their paths. 8 They do not jostle one another; each marches in his path; they burst through the weapons and are not halted. 9 They leap upon the city, they run upon the walls, they climb up into the houses, they enter through the windows like a thief. 10 The earth quakes before them; the heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. 11 The LORD utters his voice before his army, for his camp is exceedingly great; he who executes his word is powerful. For the day of the LORD is great and very awesome; who can endure it? 12 "Yet even now," declares the LORD, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; 13 and rend your hearts and not your garments." Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster. 14 Who knows whether he will not turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him, a grain offering and a drink offering for the LORD your God?
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion; consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly; 16 gather the people. Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even nursing infants. Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her chamber. 17 Between the vestibule and the altar let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep and say, "Spare your people, O LORD, and make not your heritage a reproach, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?'"
Joel’s solemn assembly is closely associated with the solemn assemblies of the Fall Feasts (Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles). It is a warning that the Day of the Lord is close at hand. It is a call for repentance and a call to return to God with all our hearts, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. It is a cry out to God for His mercy in the midst of so many in the world turning away from and even openly rebelling against God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and all of God’s people, both Jew and Gentile. Joel’s solemn assembly is watchman’s cry that a terrible war is coming and to warn the people. But Joel’s solemn assembly also contains a message that God will spare and bless the people that turn to Him during such times as these.
This promise and hope are recorded for us in Psalm 27:1-6 and Revelation 3:10-13.
[Psa 27:1-6 ESV] 1 Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall. 3 Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. 4 One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. 5 For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock. 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the LORD.
[Rev 3:10-13 ESV] 10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. 11 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. 12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'
Another day called a solemn assembly was the day Jehu had all the worshippers of Baal destroyed, destroyed the “pillar” or idol image/statue of Baal that was in the house of Baal, and demolished the house of Baal.
[2Ki 10:19-27 ESV] 19 Now therefore call to me all the prophets of Baal, all his worshipers and all his priests. Let none be missing, for I have a great sacrifice to offer to Baal. Whoever is missing shall not live." But Jehu did it with cunning in order to destroy the worshipers of Baal. 20 And Jehu ordered, "Sanctify a solemn assembly for Baal." So they proclaimed it. 21 And Jehu sent throughout all Israel, and all the worshipers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left who did not come. And they entered the house of Baal, and the house of Baal was filled from one end to the other. 22 He said to him who was in charge of the wardrobe, "Bring out the vestments for all the worshipers of Baal." So he brought out the vestments for them. 23 Then Jehu went into the house of Baal with Jehonadab the son of Rechab, and he said to the worshipers of Baal, "Search, and see that there is no servant of the LORD here among you, but only the worshipers of Baal." 24 Then they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had stationed eighty men outside and said, "The man who allows any of those whom I give into your hands to escape shall forfeit his life." 25 So as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, Jehu said to the guard and to the officers, "Go in and strike them down; let not a man escape." So when they put them to the sword, the guard and the officers cast them out and went into the inner room of the house of Baal, 26 and they brought out the pillar that was in the house of Baal and burned it. 27 And they demolished the pillar of Baal, and demolished the house of Baal, and made it a latrine to this day.
For the Church, a solemn assembly dealing with Jehu’s solemn assembly would be all about the destruction of satanic worship and worshippers. This is an ever-increasing current problem in our world today. Dealing with this problem is at the very core of the current turmoil, chaos, and manifest evil that is being exposed in all areas of life these days. Behind the globalist government movement, the immorality, and the human trafficking and child abuse, sacrifice, and trafficking problems is the occult.  There is a war going on in the world these days. It is a spiritual war between good and evil that is being manifested in the affairs of men in the natural world. Only the Church of Jesus has the authority and power in the name of Jesus to deal with this spiritual war. It is time to pray.
[Eph 6:10-18 ESV] 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
As we gather to pray during these days of September 2020, let’s pray from the future, not the past or even the present. If we focus on the past or even the present, we focus on the problems. If we focus on the future, the plans and promises of God, we focus on the solution to the problems. The future has been told to us in the prophecies and the Feasts of the Bible. We need to pray the promises and great plan of God as given to us in the Feasts of the Lord into the current chaos, turmoil, and evil of our day. We focus on God’s solutions and not on the problems. When we do, we are praying according to God’s will and it will surely come to pass.
[Mat 18:19 ESV] 19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
[Jhn 14:14 ESV] 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
[Mat 6:9-10 ESV] 9 Pray then like this: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

May the blessings of God’s SHALOM be with you for such a time as this.
