1 Ch 12:32 Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command.

The sons of Issachar were intelligent men, who understood the signs of the times, well versed in political affairs, and knew what was proper to be done in all the exigencies of human life; and who now perceived that it was both the duty and political interest of Israel to advance David to the throne.Today we seek sons and daughters of Issachar, men and women who understand the times we are living in and know what is to be done in all the exigencies of human life to advance King Jesus to His throne.

This blog is devoted to seeking Biblical truth related to current world events.

Signs of the times - As in the days of Noah

SIGNS OF THE TIMES - AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH

[Luk 17:24 ESV] For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.
[Luk 17:25 ESV] But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
[Luk 17:26 ESV] Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
[Luk 17:27 ESV] They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
[Luk 17:28 ESV] Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot--they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building,
[Luk 17:29 ESV] but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all--
[Luk 17:30 ESV] so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
The last days before the Lord returns to the earth will be as the days of Noah. They will be days of the routine activities of daily living. They will be eating, drinking, marrying, buying and selling, planting and building.
[Mat 24:37 ESV] For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
[Mat 24:38 ESV] For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark,
[Mat 24:39 ESV] and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
People in general will be unaware that the time of the judgment of god is upon them.
What were the Days of Noah like?
[Gen 6:1 ESV] When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them,
[Gen 6:2 ESV] the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose.
[Gen 6:3 ESV] Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years."
[Gen 6:4 ESV] The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.
Angels left their rightful place and had intercourse with human females producing genetically hybrid beings called the mighty men, men of renown, giants, and the Nephilim. The DNA of the Nephilim was part human and part fallen angel. They were on the earth in Noah’s day and also afterward. Nephilim (nephiyl) is translated as giants, fallers, rebels, or apostates.
[Gen 6:5 ESV] The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
The prevailing condition of man was wickedness and every intention were bent to evil continually.
[Gen 6:6 ESV] And the LORD regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.
[Gen 6:7 ESV] So the LORD said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them."
[Gen 6:11 ESV] Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight, and the earth was filled with violence.
Corruption and violence marked the condition of mankind.
[Gen 6:12 ESV] And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.
All flesh was corrupted.
[Gen 6:13 ESV] And God said to Noah, "I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
The earth was filled with violence.
The conditions on the earth in the last days before Jesus’ return will therefore be characterized by:
1.    Mankind just living their lives as usual going about the normal activities associated with daily living.
2.    People will be unaware that the judgment of God is soon coming.
3.    Sexual perversion
4.    Demonic activity
5.    There will be genetic DNA contamination producing beings that are not fully human as God created them to be.
6.    The prevailing condition of mankind will be marked by Wickedness.
7.    Evil intentions will fill man’s heart.
8.    Corruption and violence will fill the earth.
